National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET is conducted by National Testing Agency or NTA for the admission in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Ayurvedic, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) courses. NEET is not eligible for AIIMS and JIPMER. Both AIIMS and JIPMER conduct their own medical entrance examination.

NEET is eligible for the medical colleges which are under the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India. Earlier Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE was handling the NEET. From this year NTA will be responsible for conducting the exam and declaring NEET result 2019. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a medical entrance exam at the national level for the students who want to take admission in public and private medical and dental colleges.

NEET Result 2019 declaration date

NEET result 2019 will be declared by the NTA will be declared mostly on 5th June 2019. The result will be declared in online mode. The NEET result 2019 will be given in the form of a scorecard. In NEET result 2019 name of the student, date of birth, subject wise marks, NEET All India Rank (AIR), total percentile score. The marks equivalent to cut off percentile along with NEET result will also be announced. Students who have qualified NEET 2019 will be eligible to participate in the counseling process for MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses.

Qualifying percentile of NEET 2019

Students procuring the minimum qualifying percentile will be eligible to attend the counseling process. The most asked question is regarding the qualifying marks or minimum cut off to compete for NEET exam. Minimum cut off of NEET 2019 for general category is 50. Whereas the minimum cut off for SC, ST and OBC is 40. According to the official report, more than 15 lakh students have registered themselves for the medical entrance exam NEET.

  • Official website of NAT is nta.ac.in
  • Enter the roll number and date of birth in the space provided
  • The result will be displayed
  • Download the NEET result 2019 by clicking on the print
  • Click on the save and download if wanted

  • Roll Number of the Candidate
  • Application Number
  • Personal Details (including candidate’s name, father’s and mother’s name, gender, DOB, nationality, category/sub-category)

Formula to Calculate NEET UG 2019 Result

The NEET Result 2019 can be calculated by the given mentioned formula-

NEET Scores = (Number of correct answers X 4) – (Number of incorrect responses X 1)
